Summer Time Development

Well after months of work over the spring wasapi is now starting to gain momentum, unfortunately my professor didn’t exactly really try out my status update and feed functionality. I’m a little disappointed but I did well on the project. Today I thought I’d officially announce that I will be continuing development on this project throughout the summer. Wasapi will aggregate all of your profiles from the major social services and even provide you with a way to publicly and privately discuss topics in ways never attempted by other social services before hand.

There are a few surprises as well to come, The goal is to overall provide an engaging experience you won’t be able to get anywhere else. Because if we just build another facebook, digsby, or google what’s the point of Wasapi?

Wasapi Back in Development

I finally have some more time to devote towards the development of this project thanks to my client server class. My goal will be to enhance the current site by adding a chat system and eventually a multi-user real time game to run under that websites platform.
The site needs to be done by mayish so that’s my plan for the next few weeks with the website!

After years of leaving the website wasapi as a static website with the words “in development”. The website is finally in development. As in code is actually being written.

What is this website suppose to be, what will be on it, is it just another social networking site or something else?!?!?! Well that will remain a secret.

Follow this blog daily and you will learn more and more about what this website actually is.

Wasapi was initially developed by me (Larry Herb) as a portfolio piece in the summer of 2009. And by now most of the direction and a lot of the design work has been completed.

Code was finally written about 2 or 3 weeks ago. As a profile project for my client side programming class. I plan on extending this project when ever I get free time to do so. ;D.
